V15 FIREARMS 1. What is included with each rifle? - Each V15 firearm comes in its own fitted box with a magazine, a manual, and a sling. V15 firearms accept any standard AR15/M16 magazine. 2. What type of receivers are used? - All V15 firearms utilize the newest A2 designs, including the raised magazine fence and reinforced receiver ring. All new production alloy receivers are made from 7075 T6 FORGINGS (as per the current mil spec.) not castings, or Carbon/Aramid fiber, which is standard. 3. Why Carbon/Aramid receivers - Vulcan Arms, Inc. Carbon/Aramid receivers utilize a cutting edge technology method of manufacture. Long strand Carbon/Aramid fibers are hot tip injected with space age polymers to form each receiver. The resulting receiver is STRONGER and LIGHTER than aluminum. Carbon/Aramid has a tensile strength of approximately 5 times that of aluminum and is less than half the weight. Carbon/Aramid is also highly abrasion resistant, this means that the pin holes will not deform, even under extended use. 4. Which barrel twist is best? - The "best" barrel twist depends on what type of ammunition you plan to use. The 1-9" twist is the most common and stabilizes bullets up to 68 gr. If you plan on using the VLD bullets (80 gr) the 1-7" twist is best. 5. What about the V15-500 Series 9mm Rifles? - The 9mm conversion utilizes a simpple blow back system and the upper attaches to any standard AR-15 type lower. It should be noted that, due to manufactures differences, the magazines and/or magazine catch may need minor fitting. Also, this conversion is made to work with BRITISH made Sten magazines.
V47 FIREARMS 1. How are these firearms made? - We start with brand new RUSSIAN rifles, made at the famous IZHMASH factory in Siberia. They feature stamped receivers, chrome lined barrels and chambers, and a tough matte finish. Vulcan Arms, Inc. modifies these rifles to comply with current regulations (922(r) et. al.)). This requires replacing the buttstock, pistol grip, hammer, trigger, disconnector, and gas piston. 2. What magazines do these rifles take? - The V47 rifles accept any standard pattern AK double stack magazine. 3. Can I mount a scope on the V47? - Yes! Scope mounting is easy as the stamped receiver V47 rifles have a receiver mounted rail on the left side. The milled receiver guns do not have a scope mount as standard equipment, but we can install them for an additional charge.
V50SS 50 BMG Rifle 1. V50SS Specifications: Caliber:
50 BMG 2. Can I use SURPLUS ammo in my V50SS? - Due to the inconsistency of surplus ammunition, the use of surplus ammo, or any ammo other than new commercial ammo, voids the repair policy. SOME, but not all, surplus ammunition will physically fit in the chamber but its use is not recommended. V73 Rifle 1. Will Galil parts fit my V73 rifle? - Yes, all V73 rifle parts are 100% interchangeable with IMI Galil parts. 2. How does the magazine adapter work? - The V73 magazine adapter inserts into the magazine well of the rifle and is locked in place by the magazine catch. This adapter allows the use of M16 magazines instead of Galil magazines. The adapter has a second magazine latch for use with the M16 magazines. The adapter can be removed and the rifle can then use the standard Galil magazines.
