The Vulcan V15 series rifles are based on the proven AR-15 type and feature 100% parts interchangeability with the original in .223 caliber. We have taken this classic design into the new millennia. The V15 rifles feature receivers made of space age Carbon/Aramid fibers in a polymer binder. This material, similar to the material used in bullet proof vests and advanced fighter aircraft, is lighter, yet stronger, that aluminum, completely corrosion resistant, self lubricating, and the color goes all the way through the material. The lower receiver features all of the current A2 upgrades: raised magazine fence, reinforced receiver ring, and standard sized takedown pins. The upper receiver features a standard M1913 Picatinny scope rail and a built in brass deflector. The Vulcan muzzle brake virtually negates perceived recoil. Each rifle includes a manual, sling, and a magazine.

V15-101, V15-201, V15-301, V15-401, and V15-501 rifles can be purchased as a "Package" This package consists of the rifle, magazine, sling, manual, an AV15-200 rubber armored 3x9x40 scope with rings, all packed in a hard case.

The "A2" uppers (ones with the built-in "carry handle") are made from 7075-T6-511 forgings, hard coat black anodized with nickel acetate seal (as per current mil-spec) and feature the A2 sighting system, forward assist, and ejection port cover.

The Vulcan Arms V15-500 series are chambered in 9x19mm (9mm Parabellum). The 500 series uses a standard lower receiver with a removable conversion block in the magazine well that allows the use of standard, un-modified STEN magazines. This block can be removed without tools in 2 seconds to convert the lower back into the standard .223 caliber. The 9x19mm V15-500 series operates by straight blow-back, without accommodation for the bolt catch, making it very simple and reliable. The upper of the V15-500 series is forged 7075 aluminum, they do not have the forward assist or ejection port cover.
