The Vulcan V50SS-100 is a 50 BMG caliber, single shot rifle. This rifle is capable of hits at ranges exceeding one mile. The V50SS-100 features a beautiful laminate thumbhole stock into which the massive receiver, which is machined from bar stock SAE 4130 steel, is point bedded. The oversized recoil shoulder distributes the recoil over a large surface. The standard trigger is the time-proven Mauser design, interchangeable with any aftermarket trigger made for 98 pattern Mauser rifles.
The heart of the V50SS-100 is the unique bolt lock up. The oversized bolt is machined from SAE 4130 steel and has 3 locking lugs to provide as much as 3 times the strength of other 50 caliber rifles, this combined with the gas venting system makes the V50SS one of the safest rifles on the market.
The one piece muzzle brake is threaded on to the muzzle with a lock nut making it adjustable. The brake is machined from bar stock and uses a very efficient 6 port design, reducing felt recoil to less than some 12 gauge shot guns and many magnum caliber rifles.
This rifle also features a Weaver type scope rail installed on to the top of the receiver. This rail accepts any standard Weaver or M1913 Picatinny scope ring.
